The Studio
Studio NoK is a multidisciplinary design practice based on the island of Färingsö, outside Stockholm. The studio works across interiors, furniture and objects, moving between functional use and sculptural form.
The Practice
Rooted in spatial design, scenography and woodworking, the practice develops interiors through an iterative process of drawing, making and installation. A micro-workshop enables ideas to be developed through fabrication rather than representation alone, where details are tested, materials understood and solutions emerge through making. Interiors take shape through accumulation rather than gesture; through layers, relationships and small adjustments. They are approached as living environments, where use, care and time become part of the work itself.
